A story about Chris Griego
I met Chris in school, and didn’t really get to know him that well until he asked me to come work at RD2, I did, and we’ve become good friends.

It was at SXSW 2006. Following the Web Standards Project open meeting, drinking ensued across the street at the Hilton bar. Dori, I, and a few others chatted about the state of web standards and JavaScript in higher education.
Dori’s really sharp and not afraid to tell it like it is.
I admire Chris Griego as he is prepared to stop what he is doing and listen and assist others. He is a great web geek and he really has his heart in the right place. Hopefully some day we will get to meet up _
I’ve known Chris for… 4 years now! He’s always been a great person, and someone I have a lot of respect for. Some of his ideas still blow my mind, and I still bet that he’s going to make it far in life.
Thanks for being a great friend, Chris. I’ll always appreciate that. :)
He’s trying to help mobilize the Dallas geeks by working to put together BarCamp Dallas, and I always like meeting people when they recognize my name.
He hangs out on IRC (instant geek cred), he’s always willing to share what he knows to help you solve a problem, and he’s doing or done a lot of the stuff I want to do which is probably more of “why I’m jealous of Alex”...
Leia, together with Andy Rutledge, organized an informal meetup after the Refresh Dallas meeting in December got canceled. I really appreciated her putting that together and I really got to know some more like-minded people in the Dallas area. I can’t get enough of Leia’s sense of humor.
Josh gave a presentation titled “Branding Web 2.0” at Refresh Dallas (which was especially well done). Both Josh, and his wife Rachel, were very friendly and it was an honor to have them both come.
Cause I respect his opinions, and he’s a smart mo-fo, with some fantastic ideas about web development.
I’d hire him in second if Onelotus had a position open.
